McClaren Gets England Job

| if this goes through it'll be a cop-out. We didn't have the balls to get Hiddink in time, Scolari saw what vultures our press are. Let's face it, McClaren does most things now with the team, so we won't have much of a change. I'd have loved big sam to get it, but like with cloughie he's too outspoken & speaks his mind which won't go down well with the scum upstairs. |

With all the managers of the world who they could have had, why pick one who has achieved little or nothing in his career. |

I read something about Curbishley and Pearce coming on as his Lieutenants, which isn't all bad. Still, McClaren was the easy way out and as usual, the FA took it.
With Rooney likely out, I"ve lost a lot of optimism for the Three Lions next month. Probably another 16 or QF exit, as per usual.:mad: |
