You shouldn't go

being 17 and getting a room? no prob at all.

never been to another country?
never been to any EDM event in your own country?

not sure if itīs a bright idea to fly around half the world.

of course you are welcome to enjoy the LoveParade - but I suggest you go and visit some EDM events at home first before dumping quite some money on flights, accomodation, living costs etc.

I'm from the US, spent a month in Europe a couple of years ago. I had no problems whatsoever getting hostels, train reservations, alcohol, w/e. You will have a great time. May I reccomend the Odyssee Globetrotter Hostel?

**edit** sorry i wasnt more specific. I was 17 when this all happened.

Or you could go to the San Francisco edition (which will be held under a different name due to licensing issues) later this year and save some money. :) Although, it wouldn't be the same as leaving the country and experiencing different cultures.

Thanks bobono and a couple other people for a real awnser since most of u r all bunch of smartasses..

How much do u think the whole deal will run me? If I stay at hostels..

And about the san fran thing I'd rather leave the country..

You & your friend have parents that will let you go to Europe by yourselves at age 17.?
OhJoshPlenty

I'd go for it. I went to Germany when i was 18 (and some friends were 17). although it was for an exchange, and we had a lot of stuff already worked out for us; it was still super easy to navigate and go around on our own. of course, knowing the language really helps. if you don't....then i'd say you may be kinda screwed/feeling helpless.

and if you do go, like others have said, be ready to party!

(and fly on Lufthansa too!!!)
