Never, I tried in high school to DJ at a few dances but no one wanted to listen to my music, it was all about R&B and Hip Hop at dances. I got rid of my TTs last year for CDJs, so i'm kind of relearning, and learning more about DJing and beatmatching and all. My goal is to work on stuff and get a gig by next summer, but I have to get my beatmatching down first....

Thats the thing, with birthdays and school dances most people dont know/dont give a crap about mixing.

I well and truly can't remember. But it was probably about 19 years ago.

i was practicing in a lounge pretty much from the start...knew the owner so he would let me come in early before the majority of the drinking crowd hit. :)

first club gig was 8 months after that i think?
