| Its my first real AFL game tonite, going to watch Melbourne vs Geelong. Is anyone else going on the board? It mentions on the web that its at the MCG but a few people i've spoken to reckon its at the Telstra. Is it true that they only serve Lite beer at the MCG? It will be freezing too! |

Dunno about the G, but at Telstra, its 'Midstrength' or light for night matches, and Heavy or light for day matches. You can still get the heavy at night but only in the enclosed bars, Bundy, Locker Room, Livewire, Axxess One.
Livewire gets alot buisier at night, all the old codgers who have some sort of mental hardwiring against light beer retreat inside, may as well watch it at the local sports bar. |

Been out since PVD?
I'm a big soccer (real football) fan and from england anyway...just need to make the effort with AFL. Going with a Geelong fan too so should be good!! Just hope its not too cold and they serve mid strength at least... |
