My skin is pretty sensitive. I have been waxed once and after that I will NEVER do it again. I dont know if it was just the place I went to or if every place is like this in general but I had a really bad experience.
I went to this hair/nail/waxing place to get my eyebrows legs and a bikini wax. I wore shorts that day. The lady doing it was extremely rough as if she really want to see my agony.
She did my eyebrows and that was fine. When she got to my legs I was dying. Afterward it looked really horrible. She was yanking so hard that when she ripped the hair out of the follicle my pores where the hair had been pulled out started to bleed and scab up. After I saw the outcome I told her I will pass on the bikini wax.
I had to go home wearing shorts and having people staring at my legs the whole way because it looked worse than chicken pox and my legs were really red and the skin was practiaclly raw.
Never again....ever. I only use a razor now. |
