Heres my summary.
Good points
I like Itunes, It's very easy to use,it burn cd's and creates playlists very well.
The music store is good for having a listen to a sample of some tunes you'd maybe like to buy or download. I get free downloads on Itunes anyway.
The Ipod has got the easiest navigation of any of the handheld music players i have tried. Minus this bad boy...

Bad Points
Mine got broken very easily even though i took good care of it. (The wheel just popped off one day and refused to go back on)
The battery life on my particular Ipod was awful. At first it lasted a few hours below the standard battery life, but after 6 months it was lucky to last 3 hours.
They are very expensive.
In Conclusion
It's personal preference whether you like them or not. I'd like to get another one but Apple customer service was a joke and I just can't afford to. If you've got one in fully working order, working at it's full potential. You can't really fault them. Cool little gadgets. |

You have to be kidding me. The question isnt wether or not you like iPods. I could honestly care less if you do. I am simply asking this,
| quote: | | I just lost my 5th generation iPod, so instead of coughing up another $300 for the smae one I've decided to wait for the next one. What are people's thoughts on what its going to be like and/or when its comming out? |

| buy a nano or something. maybe that'll hold you off. do the math yourself and see if holding off is more convenient. The next generation isn't coming out anytime soon i heard. |

| Really, well there was speculation over a first quarter release, but that obviously never happened. The 5th generation was released in September last year, and the iPod generations have usually come out within a year of each other. I have an old 3rd generation to use right now so its not a big deal, but if they only make minor changes (which seems to be the opposite of the case then I might just buy another 5th generation) anyways I was just seeing if what people feel apple is going to do for the next generation. |

Never again will I buy an iPod-junktool again. Man that thing BLOWS. It malfunctioned after 4 months of normal use. I thought this happened only to me; but then 1 friend had the same problem; and one had a problem with the ear-attachement-plugin into the Ipod. That connector s up very fast.
I should've stayed with my good old trustworthy Creative Zen.
* > Ipod !!!!!!!
(Ps: iTunes is gay and sucks) |
