At the moment, I use the same computer, one I had built specifically for audio, for everything, making music but also the ussual s**t like goin on the internet and games etc. The thing is, I have got a ssecond older pc which is just lying about unused.

I've just recently found out about KVM switches and am thinking of getting one but I'm not sure about something.

If thew audio computer has a dual headed graphics card with 256mb memory, does that still get used when I'm using the computer for music or does the box have it's own graphics outputs. I just ain't sure how it exactly works, can someone please help?

It connects into the graphics cards of both computers. Think of it as a monitor extension cable except it has an extra output for connecting another PC. The keyboard and mouse are connected in the same way, and they usually use a shortcut on the keyboard to jump between the 2 computers.
