Has anyone else ever happened to catch the "Mike Relm show"? I went to see amon tobin at mezzanine last year and this suit wearing Mike Relm guy put on this audiovisual show that was so impressive i only stayed for about a half hour of amon's set (although to be fair i'm not really much of a DnB fan). The visual show was entertaining and the records (mostly mainstream 90s rap, rock, and misc stuff, not much edm) were fun, but Horace Christ i have never seen such intensity and enthusiasm behind the decks. I know that more turntablist oriented djs have more to do up there, but man i couldnt take my eyes off this guy the whole time cuz i thought he was goin to blast off into outer space.
Anyway i just noticed he's playing a free show tomorrow nite at mezzanine, and i was thinking of checking it out before heading over to 1015, has anyone else ever caught this guy before? |
