Electro Ptompt or not Tijis brought it last nite target practicing with the crowd. Tracks F16, harder version of Lethal Industry others i could not Id at the end but where bangin tunes. He shut chicago down for talking after so so thanksgiving set which i did not make journey to but heard by band wagon fans of Tiesto. Tiesto, PVD, Armin, etc when they bring it they bring really good, other times can be so so cause of touring so hard which is understand able. But last nite was really good set for chicago. James Holden made an appearance before around 1030 or so which was kind of cool for few mins people might have not noticed him talking to the openers deejays, since he was later to hit the decks @ vision.
Good party, Great big space, sound system was bangin, Tiesto was on it. |

I hadn't seen the refurbished Congress before last night and was very impressed. I've seen Tiesto only once before, at Visions. The quality of sound at the "new" Congress beats any other venue I've been in, and for Tiesto, was clearly superior to Visions, IMO. Adding a concert type sound management console out in front is a big step forward in getting the sound levels right. The light show group had great equipment and execution, but content was disappointing with a few exceptions.
I thought Tiesto was very energized and technically awesome. But his new material left me unimpressed. I'm a big fan and hoped for more.
Nevertheless, it was a great night for dancing and people watching.
I bought VIP but spent most of my time downstairs. Doesn't seem worth the extra $$ unless you use your two drink coupons for $9 cocktails. Also, all the heat from the dance floor migrates upward to the balcony, so the main floor with many more dancers is actually much cooler. |

Tight Track too bad the security guards ruined it when they hopped the rail bars by me to stop a fight which actually turned out to be 4-5 guys crawling on the ground for a signed ISOS5 cd that Tiesto just threw into the crowd. |

that video was pretty cool - looked like the place was packed and everyone was having a good time
glad to see that pure is having the big trance shows at congress - they've needed to move armin, tietsto etc. out of vision and sound bar for a while due to capacity issues |

Its not like hes in a bus or van, he flies wherever he goes, probably a private jet. I dont feel bad for him at all and it should not be taken into acount for a medicore show |
