Review :: Anthony Pappa (not showing up) @ Pure Nite Club May 5th

Hello hello everyone,
It is currently 6:13 am I have not slept with the abuse of alcohol I had yet I'm working in aprox two hours which might not make this thread as accurate as possible but here I go.
First of all I would like to thank all of you who have came and supported this event. Chokers dont choke next time. :toothless
Unfortunately Anthony Pappa could not get throught customs. Maybe he was smuggling illegal records. :toothless
Although one thing that made the night was to hear Dj Julian P. destroy the dance floor with pure sounds of eletro. The one thing every one should know is that you will hear alot in the upcoming months about him. He killed his set with Sander K - This is not miami ..... every one went craazyyyy.
The event was something like this:
The night started slow until around 12:30 and then reached a nice peak at around 1:20 which afterwards died little around 2:30.
Julian P. started off slow with some commercial stuff :whip: but then as the club got packed he turned on his amazing eletro tracks. We have seen and heard of everything from deep bassilnes to tight eletro sounds with a beautifull lighting show and laser show as well and a little tiesto in concert movie on the plasma screens.:toothless
We are sorry the event turned out this way due to customs but I mean for free entrence and drinks on the house from Coco Entertainment Canada with the sounds of Julian the night was perfect.
I also met a couple of TA like Jetsraver, Stereohead, Azia and for the rest which I'm sorry I cant remamber.:rolleyes:
I hope everyone enjoyed their time and now it time to post your comments.

/review -start
To start off the night, ran into Marcus at a bus stop with a couple old friends, which was pretty funny.
The metro, some girl from my school spotted me and starts screaming LASALLE from the other end of the metro car.
Pretty much was one ofthe first people at Pure, got there around 11:35, I think. Ran into Vlad. Thanks for last night. Sorry to hear about Pappa.Illegal records bahahha... Got inside. I went to Blu like two years ago, they sort of changed it a little bit, but not alot. I think they just moved the bar upstairs directly to the wall, but I can be mistaken. The sound system was pretty good. Next time I'll bring my earplugs, not fun standing next to and under a speaker thats blowing my hair in all directions. So happy to see some TA's. Let see people started coming in at 12:30, got pretty nice at around 1 and by 2 people left, not sure if thats usual at a club. One thing is for sure I will for sure start going to like 1234, Upperclub, and other EDM clubs when they bring in more names that I know. Oh yah Shawn, thanks for the two shots of what was that vile substance? Tequila? It was to fun I'm watching the dance floor, some girl comes upto me shes like you look familiar, her friend is like do you go to Champlain, I am like nope. She says her name, then it clicks. Shes a member on another forum. Oh yah off not, one of Erika friends, Sasha probably will be a new TA member wants to post something about Sander at Stereo. Too end the night, Pappa still was stuck at customs and I left at 3:15.
TA's I saw: Erika, Louis, one of the Peurfs, ImmyJ (?sp), Azia, Courtney, Sean, another one forgot his name that wants me to go to Stereo next weekend (i think its next weekend).

Heard some sweet Sander-inspired stuff, it was a really nice night

omg i was so drunk last night
first kinda normal night i've had in montreal in awhile....haha actually slept last night and woke up DAMN hungry
awesome night though....the dj that filled in for pappa, made the night
and damn dangerous floors!! fkn ice skating rink :nervous: |
