Electric Universe aka Boris Blenn is back with his 8th (!) Electric Universe album since the start 1994.
This is the first album to get released on his newly started label with the same name.
As his last album it's packed with energetic tunes and this time the tempo is pushed even further.

This is very energetic.
I'm actually thinking about buying this after hearing the samples posted in this thread. There's a couple of bombs in this one for sure.
Ironically I don't like the track called "The Bomb" :happy2:
"Mind Of God" and "Future Excursions" sounded very good.
Looks very interesting, So I'll keep my eyes open for this one. |

hmm... I don't see anything special with these tunes(maybe I'm wrong and it's just the fact that the samples only provide a small range of what the track is like).
Some remind me of skazi-tracks, like "the Bomb".
Most tracks are mediocre imho.
At least "Electric Universe" makes me think of "Dancing Galaxy", a tune that I really like.
"Future Excursions" is nice, too. |

mmm I dont really know what I expected from this album but it certainally wasnt the samples I heard :(
Pity theres nothing on there anything like Transmission :(
And the vocals in track 02? :confused: |

Just had time to listen to the samples, all those crazy effects and sounds, not to mention the insane ENERGY.
Cosmic Experience was my album of 2004, and although this artist may be not Blenn's best artistalbum, it still dig it thou, lots of crazy tunage

edit: I think Blenn redefined the word Energy with his album :toothless :wtf: |

| nothing really great regarding this album, my favourite track being Future Excursions. been really dissapointed with the majority of psy thats coming out lately. |

| those samples were a bit of a dissapointment - don't do it for me at all. Seems to lack originality and adds nothing since the previous album. Hopefully the album itself is more than what those samples gave |

Agreed, this year is just loaded with over the top energy.
Blenn's new album is good, I even like his really early stuff as well. His first two albums were great. I totally didn't get his mid period at all. 98-03'. |
