Soo today arround noon alisa and myself decided to have brunch at our favorite spot. We have a great lunch, and then like every saturday after lunch we go to the video game store. Soo we are there looking at games etc. Then we notice a bit of commotion. We over here this guy on his cell phone with what i believe was his lawyer. We find out the guys son tripped on a rug in the entrance way(mind you his son his son is 5 or 6 maybe younger) and hit his head.. It was quite clear the guys son was fine, no blood, no crying etc. But here he is on the phone with his lawyer. Kids fall they survive deal with it......
Is it just me, or does this seem a bit outrageous? And people wonder why our insurance fees are stupid expensive. |

Hehe, I've pretended to be on the phone with my lawyer (I don't have a lawyer) before when I've wanted to w/ ppl or get something for free after some minor problem...
I agree though, the American fascination with lawsuits is a major load --- I'm a big believer in being responsible for your own actions, even if your own actions aren't responsible (hehe). Blaming others constantly and having a society where small businesses live in fear of some idiot and his idiot son taking them to court is a recipe for discomfort and, perhaps, disaster. |

Money governs life.
Get it anyway you can.
There's no reason to think of it as anything more than that. It's really that simple. |

| I saw a video on this before...In America people always want to BLAME their actions on someone or somebody other than themselves. Heres an example, say that your son is failing school and you say the school district does not provide a good education. The part they leave out is that their son is a piece of that doesnt do any work to begin with. They try to justify their sons poor education by suing a school claiming its no good, which is flase. I dunno, just my two cents |

| it's one thing when money drives a so-called free market economy. it's another thing when money drives human beings and overrides basic ethics and morality principles, creating irresponsible mutally destructive people who consistently fail in their basic duties as citizens of a whole society. |
