the best game EVER is and will always be LEISURE SUIT LARRY 1,2,3,5,6,7 (isnt there an 8 to, if so, i havent tried it) |
YES! LSL is the best series ever. King's Quest is up there as well, but nothing compares to Larry. How about the educational, yet entertaining, Where in the (fill in the blank) is Carmen Sandiego ?
Time, US, World,I know there were more, but can't think of them off the top of my head. Oh well, they were fun too. |

Knightmare II - The Maze of Galious on MSX, god I remember searching for months where that godd*mn cross was to beat Galious. And the dagger...
And Penguin Adventure 2 was also very good.
Submarine on Commodore Vic20, addictive like hell.
And how could I forget the Ultima series (starting from Akalabeth, with Ultima 7 being the top)
Honestly I think most games of today don't even come close to those oldskool gems. All they do is make extra nice graphics and sounds and whatever you need a gigantic comp for, and forgot about the gameplay or the mood.
The last game that really got me going was Deus Ex, and since then, nothing. |

I can't believe u forgot the one and best
DIABLO
I played that game for like 12 hours oline at once.
Diablo 2 is kindof a letdown cause
it didnt improwe the graphic too much and it is too big
plus I dont like that your quests are set
(not rabdom like in diablo )
ahhhhhhh it was the best!
and warcraft 2 was ggoood too. (warcraft 3 looks AWESOME!!!!!!!)

Euhm guys, I don't know, but why don't you mention Commandor KEEN!!!!
This game was one of my favorits.
And what about Prince of Persia, also loved that one!! And of my best games ever was made by Sierra. Robin Hood, That game had 7 floppy disks and it had a great story!! Loved to play that one also!! |

What about Mario?? I mean, come on! I loved the Kirby games also.
Hmmm...Q4G was an awesome series. I could die a happy TA if they would release the damn thing as abandonware though.
I would also say the original Wipeout for PSX. Not really that old of a game, but still a classic. Awesome soundtrack too! |
