I like the M3 and M5 BMW's but who in their right mind would spen £150,000 on a BM when u can get a MArannello, MUrcielago, Bentley Continental or Vanquish, which would most definately have more instant appeal??!
Oh and the M3 GTR has been used in the US Le Mans race, where it has performed considerably well, and it has been confirmed to make a limited production run.
Oh and the car that looks THE BEST is the SLR. If I had a scanner Id post the pics but, those who have seen it before know what I'm on about!! |

| The GTR m3 is one of the most beautiful cars i have ever seen - the race version that is. i prolly wouldnt drop more $ for the v8 when it isnt that much faster than the normal m3 on the street. the beemer i am most impressed with currently is the new 7 series. it comes with a 12 banger, and anything else you could want, but most importantly it has bucket seats in the back! ahhh...that would be a fine slant and go...late/ |

| BMW came out with the SMG Tranny for the new M3's. Heard it's fukin' sweet. Don't know the exact spec but i heard it's 0.8 or less between shifts! My friend is getting one. Hope he lets me try it out! = ) |

FYI 3 of those 5 cars have VOLKSWAGEN engines in them. Including the Veyron.... 1001 horsepower with 4 turbos!!
I don't really care for that first BMW, but i like the BMW biznology posted... the GTR spec racecars... now THOSE are bad-ass!

Volkswagen W12
the race version used to set the 24 hour top-speed record of the world:
On October 14, 2001, the black carbon-fiber-body W12 Coupe was used to set the world speed record for distance covered in 24 hours. The car covered 4,402.8 miles at an average speed of 183.45 mph. In this quest, Volkswagen says two other world speed records and six international vehicle class records were broken.
The W12 displaces 6.0 liters and makes 600 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 458 lb-ft of torque. Power is then applied to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential-shifting manual gearbox.
Oh yeah and i forgot to mention the production version has a Carbon Fiber body, 600 hp, weighs 2600 lbs., and has 19" Lightweight wheels. Top speed is 217 mph. Price is expected to be around $150,000. Sales begin last quarter of 2002.

I gotta get me one of THESE bad-boys!! Faster than the previous-fastest production car (McLaren), and costs less than 1/7th as much, and IMO looks better.

Isn't it up in the $1,000,000 price range...fahking crazy if you ask me. I bet its bad ass but I couldnot justify spending that...
If I had the dough (lets hope my Lotto 649 numbers come up tonite)...I would get myself a bad ass Audi TT. Buy myself an S4 engine...change out the twin hairdryers and get some bigger units, UP THE BOOST until my ears are ready to pop...slap a 10" sub in the ride is done!
But seeing I have lost my job...ol'faithful GTI has to stick around. But its almost as good...what with its 8 valve, SOHC 1.8 l Digifant engine putting out 105HP...thats damn fast...haha:rolleyes:
Na I am being hard on it...I have pulled up to 1.8Ts which have 50 more HP and not to mention so many others....dare I say it...Civics. Sorry Tiesto...I like Hondas...I think most Veedubers are too hateful of Hondas...I almost bought myself a Prelude a few months ago...but I decided it probably would not make me as happy as a TT so I decided to wait and save a bit more. Thank God I did...I never saw the pink slip coming...at least I got no debts to pay. Phew! |

cmon, the mcclaren has the drivers seat in the middle with 2 passnger seats! you can get 2 women in there! plus they are all sold, so i would imagine youd have to pay more than a million dollars for it anyways...i certainly would like one tho...i wasted a whole roll of film taking pictures of the one in the McClaren Dealership/Musem/Store/Thingy in London...late/ |
