hmm i haven't heard the original so i'm not sure how this compares to it. The bass and your first pad don't seem to go too well together. When the bassline changes it is a tad bit too loud. I'm not really feeling your snare/clap. breakdown is nice...there's a conflicting pad in there that doesn't really fit too well. I was hoping for more of a climax when the drums came back in. Perhaps you can spice up the bassline and add some more layers in it and make the kick fatter sounding. Other than that this is pretty clean for fruity loops (i have a big problem making mine uncluttered sounding). This is good for only producing for a year. 7.5/10. It's a pretty song, though it is kind of basic sounding. With a few tweaks this should be pretty cool dude. Keep it up!

- well , I already tried to do something with the bassline , and a sweep pad , but i couldn't really get it to sound good .. so i'll try another one , later ..
