I've gotten the urge to play some old games of mine like XCOM UFO DEFENSE and Warcraft 1 that are DOS based. I have Windows XP and my computer ofcourse is now way too fast to be able to play them. (I tried).
I was wondering what the safest way would be to slow my computer down so I could play them, and I feel uneasy about downloading programs from random websites.
So I'm asking you guys if any of you use programs like DOSBOX or something what you would recommend.:thepirate |

Your on the right path using Dosbox. However since Dosbox is command line and not user friendly, get D-Fend which is a frontend for Dosbox which provides you with a GUI interface and lots of options. It works great and plays all your favorite old DOS games.
You can get D-Fend here: LINK |
