Sinus Problem

i had a flu recently, with a high fever, which is all better now, but i cant smell anything for . NOTHING. i took a vicks container, and took a long and hard sniff and i didnt smell a thing.
any suggestions on what i should do? i've ate onions (which helped a bit), breathed in steam (mixed with and without vicks) and done a neti-pot thing too, nothing helps....
or should i just go to the doc? |

I've had sinus problems all my life. And my nasal passage has been inflamed for almost the same time. My voice always sounds nasaly, and even more so when I get nervous, or my allergies act up. But I only lose taste when I am sick and get a sinus infection, so this is what I do:
Takes loads of antihistamines, as well as sinus-treating OTC medications and drink water bottle after bottle (Seriously, don't stop). You also might want to take mucinex if your getting mucus and such.
