OMG!!!! Such a en awesome time. I couldn't belive that by 10:00pm the main room was already going off!!!!! I'm so speechless... Thanks to everyone that came by early and supported me... I'm pretty beat up right now, so I'll write my reviw later.
I wont post my mix up cuz I don't like my mixing. But I swear, it sounded way better live.. :D

the crowd at spundae was incredible last night. And Michelle was sauced....good one.

All I can say about last night is WOW, WOW and more WOW!!!!
Woody started off the night perfectly and the crowd was really digging his stuff. They definitely gave you a warm reaction buddy, that made me happy to see :).
As far as myselft, I want to start off by apologizing to everyone if I didn't seem like my normal self. I've been pretty sick all week and Saturday was the first glimpse of feeling better I had seen all week. I was still pretty run down though. After sweating through my entire set I felt like I was gonna pass out, so I wasn't really able to hang out with anyone post-set like I would normally have liked :(.
I want to thank Michelle for asking me to play for her birthday and everyone else for their continued support!!!
I dont' think i've ever seen Spundae so packed in my life. Last night was absolutely insane. I thought at first I was sweating because I still had a fever, but it turns out that the body heat coming off what looked liked 3000+ people was waht was doing it.
That was hands down the most insane/fun set i've ever had. To be able to play for that many people, and for that many people to enjoy the music to that level is pretty amazing. I really felt like I was able to play a full blown set, with all the fun peaks and valleys that you can work with during a time slot of that length.
I'm actually glad the Judge got there when he did because if he would have got there any later I think I might have passed out from heat exhaustion. I tell ya, fever and that heat dont' mix!
I'm sure i'll have more to post later, but for now I need to relax :). I have plenty of great pics and videos that I want to post as well. They definitely capture the night!!! Shout out to my lovely girlfriend for taking all of those for me !!!

Anyways... I just want to say a big Thank you for everyone one to came out to Spundae last night :D I had sooooo much fun and actully remeber most of the night! (woot woot:haha: :crazy:)
I get to Spundae a little after 9 to see Jesse open the main room. What a Great Set so much Fun to dance too :D WOOT WOOT The suprize at the end was awsome! Thank you :)It was so Great seeing you in the main room. About Time imo.
Scott gets on and blows the roof of the place. The Main room got so packed. Regardless of how hot it was people where having such a Great time out there. Not a single person was standing there. The recption you got from the crowd was well deserved :) I always knew you could rock the main room.
Jules gets on and I was not feeling the bang bang trance at all. So it was time to stumble.. I mean walk around and mingle with everyone. All though the music was not the best imo other people where out there enjoying themself so that is all that really matters.
Fei Fei gets on and no one leaves the dance floor. Typically people bail after the headlining Dj. But Fei Fei did a great job of keep the energy up and people on the dance floor! WOOT WOOT! I am sorry I left early though my head was starting to kill me... My limit was reached and prob. Passed at that point ;) :haha:

Great seeing Woody and Austin play for the first time. Great sets guys! Nice to finally meet Gypsygirl and seeing the rest of the TAs celebrating Michelle's B-day (kris, dj faded, gehzumteufel, aproximalia(sp?), TSG, karenluvs2party, thrax, etc.)

| i have got to say what a great night. my friends and i got there about 930 or so and woody was on. it was a little to housey for me that early but as it got later and more trancey i really got into it. woody you did an awesome job. i went up and got my first drink about 945 and just as i was going up stairs to get it i saw michelle. had to say hi since it had been like at least a month since i have gone out. went up got my drink and came back downstairs for woody's set. then austin came on. all i have to say is WOW. when are you going to be back at circus dude? your set was really really good. i thoroughly enjoyed it. and it was nice finally meeting you. the crowd was nice size. not sardine can packed at all. hot as hell though. normally its not as hot as it was but i dont know what was up. saw a bunch of TAs there. too many to list. jules came on and i felt it for about 1hr at most. then it was just wayyyyy to electro for me (sorry sara not my thing). i was beat that night already from a bunch of things (my tire blew out on friday and i had to run a total of 1mile, something i havent done in years, to a call box so that the damn road side assistance could bring tools so i could change the tire. i also helped my sister move on saturday.) so i was beat and my friends and i left at about 3. sorry fei-fei just couldnt physically stay anymore. during jules set woody, kris, michelle, chris, some john guy, and a few others were hanging out up on the balcony. that was a LOT of fun. kris what kind of cake is that? it was really good. not too sweet. michelle i had an AWESOME time. glad you had a great time. i didnt think you would remember half the night with how gone you were. lol happy 21st michelle! lol |
