Greetings... This is my second attempt at psy-trance. Without further ado here's:
My BAND PAGE
It's called Midnight Chase. It's sort of a horror-filled soundscape of various slow and fast textures liberally sprayed with acid.
I'm not sure I'm quite done with it, but there's perhaps a share of mastering issues... My listening devices have been limited to headphones lately, so anything feedback you have in any way is good.

intro is spooky. sort of creates the atmosphere your trying to create.
sounds like cyberneticas stuff. cool!
nice production although ive started to get back into melodic/ uplifting trance more so my psy knowledge is getting weaker.
nice sounds throughout. listening on comp speakers but everything sounds fine. good job on that.
still going to say i liked your last track better though and thats down to style alone. ;)

Sounds like Cybernetica??!!... I really look up to the guy, so I'll take that as a strong thumbs up on my psy production.
It's funny... I just realized that I've got this madhouse track right next to one of the softest trance-tracks I've ever written.
Melodic trance last week... Psy today... maybe progressive this week. ;) |

I liked this track very much. It has a lot of atmosphere which is what I'm really enjoying listening to these days. The dark tone is quite well realised and effective too.
The groove you create with the delayed notes on the bassline is cool, quite original and different to most psy.
Synths around the 2.30 mark need a bit more processing, they sound a bit harsh at the moment.
3.20... wierd samples but very cool :)
3.47... the break could be do with more work. I think the crash cymbal drowns out the lovely synth noises you have here.
3.55... the synths here are too loud and quite piercing. Really nice theme though, with a bit more mixing it will contrast beautifully with the rest of the track.
Overall, good track with a lot of elements woven together pretty well. A lot of tension and dark trippy vibes going on. With a bit more time spent on the mixing it will sound even better. |

hey there :).
i think some things in the intro might be a bit sharp.
bassline is cool but maybe you could give it more punch? almost feels like a whole note..
you got some really nice sounds, i used some off that freeware but never liked it and couldnt get a good sound.
the acidline is cool :).
i dont like the brass'ish thing that comes in.
lol break is friggin weird xD.
ouch the sounds after the break is kinda sharp.
the vocals are too high, they dist over here.
great track though :). |

Dark intro...like that...waiting for the boom...
Strong bass,maybe the kick is little high freq but not bad at all :D
Nice use of the cymbal.The fxs and the main lead give strange atmosphere that I like a lot.General mastering is good.You must continue producing with headphones hehe ;)
My personal opinion is that you mix some expirimental and psy elements at this track.It's not the mix for the dance floor but something that trips you a lot and can be use for an intro.I like the style.Something different and.....evil ;)

Nice and dark. Bassline needs a little attention maybe. WOW! Lots of big noises in this track. Booms and bangs!
Big reverbs. Lots of good effects. The strings sound pretty darn good too.
1:55 breaking in a new dark delicious synthy sound.
Those big reverse crash's and stuff really punch your compressor and your limiter. Things get really squashed. Like too much. You can hear it happening. (2:46 is a good example)
3:06 everything drops out. Creepy ambience. Nice samples. Oh snap! 3:46 bassline varies. Nice. But it's crushing your overal mix and master compressor and limiter. Very painfull to listen to limited audio.
This track sounds really cool!
Make it longer, and tone down your mixing a bit. I would take EVERYTHING in your sequencer and bring it down. And mix at low levels first. THEN apply mastering limiting at the last step during mastering.
Really cool sounds and ideas, make it a big longer, and focus on the technical aspects, and you should be good.

2:00 groove is a lot of fun
i think the synth at 2:30 is weak, piercing.
i like your metallic effects/voices very cool
i like 3:27 sample, etc very slick and party! funny!
this is a good tune
nice tune. i'm in a different mood lately with a melody emphasis, but this is very cool psy. |

as always, commenting as I listen ;)
Awesome intro, reminds me a lot of The Delta. Very cinematic and dark. Great stuff! Really builds up tension until the kick comes in.
The kick is not bad, very psy typical. Sweet.
Some nice atmospheric sounds. As said, this one reminds me a little of the stuff I am doing ;)
Really good ambience. The synths play well together, and you used some nice ambiences. Cool acidlines, I specially like that one after 2:00.
2:33 ... nice melodies, gives this one a dark horror feeling.
This is not really full-on, its a very multilayered and intelligent track I'd enjoy most on headphones at home. It certainly demands some concentration.
3:20 ... confusing sample. Nice!
New bassline now. The new melody is very spooky, really great one. I'd say this one gets a little dominant in the overall mix though.
The title fits extremely well now :D ... Really feels like a horror movie. And I got to say it sounds original, not like the hundreds of full-on/darkpsy clones!
Its ending a little too soon, there could still be something extra coming towards the end.
Still, a good job on this one, I will definately keep this in my playlist. Great atmosphere and layering here. Mastering seemed pretty good too, apart from the lead synths being a little too dominant.
