supperclubs/nightclubs are totally different than afterhours.
If people want to spend $1k Lawler, they better be willing to spend $10k a pop to see Sasha and Digweed than. |

ibiza vs. montreal: where Ibiza is considered one of the most expensive places to club in the world.
Ibiza: 50 euros cover @ Space, no lineup, 100 euros to get RUINED (which most people would not do), in the world's sickest club with the best crowd, with one of the world's best sound systems = 150 Euros (BIG MAX here, since not too many people would spend 100 euros on drinks).
Montreal: 0$ cover @ Myst, stupid lineup (guestlist only), 1000$ table reservation with bottle, in a small club where half the ppl don't care who the DJ is.

So true, seeing Sasha and Hernan in Ibiza and its 45 or 65 euros I think to get in that night. Those two are way better than Lawler. I'm guessing if you do something like that here it be what $2000/person. |

Come on guys, just cause a club night is twice the price of most mortgage payments doesnt mean its a good deal.
Lopi's latest club idea:
Rent out an SAQ for a night, play a recorded set off iTunes over the speakers! Only way to get drunk to good music in this city anymore! |
