dj freq and nou made this track ive just put some percussion and a few minor efx onto the audio file...see what you think give us some feedback..... all comments welcome....

You did add a lot to it. Very busy in the beginning. Then the beatles sample filters in. Wot yay.
You're adding a lot of flange, which is alright sounding... it muddies up the mix a tad. Granted you're new at producing (relatively), so I won't hold it against you.
The dings, and bonks, don't fit as well now. They did in the beginning. Maybe... Not dropping them right at 1:53. It's a bit harsh. I'd brink the beep efx in at the next break down. And leave out the "bonk" sound all together.
All in all... I'd say it's nice and full with sounds and effects.
But it sounds overall... to "wet" too much flange and extra reverb.
I'd throw me back that fruity-file so I can tweak it hear and there.

It's a good track, but it needs some more work production wise.
The kick and bass is to wet, make it more dry from effect and it would free up alot of headroom down there.
Nice use of the beatles sample.
hmm, i see now that its freaq's and nous original. Havent heard it, so i dont know what you've done to it.. But as freaq says, its to wet.
But a nice track indead :) |
