Making Pads in VSTATION

Any one have any idea where to begin in making pads? I'm trying to get that similar sound used in Fl Studio's pads. Similar to AirChorus or CRTsomething. Anyone have any knowledge of this or where I can get info on synthology and pad structure?

Start by finding a pad you like in the v station presets. Then open up another instance of v station ( helps if you have 2 screens ).

Then with the second v station select one of the blank presets.
Starting with the oscillators start copying the sound you like in to the blank preset and if you keep playing your keyboard you will hear exacly what effect each filter / osc / effects / ect has on the sound.

Soon after doing this for a while you will know how to do this with out having to copy from another preset.

I usually go with 2 Saw OSC and 1 Square, detune one of the saws to a reasonable amount, on the filter Env, I sometimes use attack, little or no decay, sustain @ 96, release @ 96, on the Mod evenlope I usually use some attack, alot of decay and sustain, and release. Throw on some Reverb and/or delay. Chorus for extra phatness, or phasor for that subtle feel.

It's what i usually do for pads from stratch, it works for some songs :).
