lucky? is this the first you've heard of Ryan Miller?
and if you're not aware, after Game 1, Buffalo said they would not run and gun with Ottawa, because playing defensively is their style, and that creates odd-man rushes and breakways.
fyi, our first goal was a 2-on-1 break, and our second was a clean breakaway, both created by excellent defensive plays.
our defense consistently blocks shots, and is backstopped by excellent goaltending. |

I think the Sabres taking the first 2 in Ottawa says something....
I have to agree though, that you're not gonna win every game shooting only 17 times...But the truth of the matter is this...
Emery is weak....and Hasek really let Ottawa down, if Hasek was playing im sure Ottawa would be leading 2-0.
Hasek needs to be the "professional" he claims he is, and actually get out there and earn a paycheck. There are plenty of athletes who play hurt....Look at Forsberg, he played hurt the last month, and got surgery after the playoffs were over....
I think Hasek at 75% health is better than a healthy Emery....and if I was John Muckler, I would be raising hell. |
