You have to understand that WEMF 03 was set to be at Bobcaygeon once again. But due to the town council passing sound ordinance laws right befrore the event, Destiny lost that venue. There was not enough time to prepare Trudea Park or apply for outdoor sound permits as the event grew near. This year is going to rock because Destiny has actually had the time to create awesome outdoor themed stages (Water, Air, Land, Space, Time) throughout the grounds. The sweaty lodges are what ruined WEMF 03. The spacious shaded forest camping space of Tweed, along with it being on Stoco Lake was great! With the pluses of onsite parking and BYOB, Tweed will be sick this year. I've been to enough WEMF's to trust that Destiny will do this year proper. :) |

And yea, just personally, i dont like this 'rock stage' business. to me, wemf has been an "EDM" event, and adding a non-edm stage (in my mind) reduces its integrity. i happened to really love that this has been a pure electronic music themed event! like our own little thing in this world/scene over here in Ontario! :D
oh well, truthfully it really shoudn't impact my experience to any real extent, but regardless im a little 'unhappy' and disappointed w/ the news. |

| WOW Tweed was the worst ever WEMF. But as I recall I said to myself if they actually had outdoor stages it would be really really good. |
