Timski Yeah I have used one a fair bit... I personally don't love the kaoss pads, I just think there a bit too fisher price and the quality of the effects over sound is questionable. I own an efx-1000 and wouldnt trade it for any other... Not to mention with the kaoss pad and its retarded x-y axis effecting system its hard to get a constant nice sound. i got big pants ^do you think a pioneer efx500 would be better in that price range? jun139 isnt like the efx 500 really similar to the 1000 but it has more features. and yet the price is so far between the two .. hahah i think the efx500 would be more worth the money.. DJQues I own a KAOSS PAD and like Timski said the sound and the touch screen seem a little toyish to me. Granted there are some good effects you can pull off when used right but as a rule I always keep the fx output low cause it can get very ugly if turned to high.
