| whats the coolest thing you ever found at a thrift store? i found a box full of old NES games once, and some pretty sweet vintage penguin shirts. thrift stores here kinda suck now; the emo kids buy all the cool stuff :( |

yeah, when people donate a bunch of old crap out of their closets.
like, most of the time its a bunch of junk, but sometimes you can find old records, rare video games, antiques, etc. just gotta know what to look for. i hit them up and then resell the stuff on ebay ;) |

...just visited my nearby thrift store on lunch break:
my loot:
- Gogol's essays (russian classical writer)
- My Secret Garden (Women's sexual fantasies) book
- Robin hood men in tights VHS (FTW!!!!)
total: $4.56
here's an excerpt from the "secret garden" book:

My Secret Garden is some good reading. Managed to snag a copy of that back in the teen years. There's some crazy shiat in there as well, though.
Now, if it's junk from a closet you want, please god come to my house. I haven not one, but four closets of goodness for you. |
