Just got back from seeing him.
He played a pretty good show, but it seemed like he's been playing more house-y tunes lately. But nevertheless it was an enjoyable show.
My gripe was that the set was too short, but what can ya do?
Also, I did not notice any people with a "thuggish" appearance, to my surprise so Blue was fine for me. It was much cooler inside than it was at Seven when AvB was playing, and was much much nicer. Seven is a dump compared to Blue.
List of tracks Tiesto played during his set:
Jam & Spoon - Odyssey to Anyoona
Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms
Jes - People will go (Steve Forte Rio Mix)
Late Night Alumni - Empty Streets
Interstate - Remember Me
Tiesto - Flight 643 and Lethal Industry
Leama & Moor - Everything Matters (Matthew Dekay Mix)
Electro-Prompt - Beside Me (Gothek D.C. Remix)
Fonzerelli - Moonlight Party
BT - Somnambulist (not sure what remix it was)
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. |

| Those are about the tracks I remember. Add: Way Out West - Don't forget me (Guy Ehmetores Remix) and didn't he play Helsinki Scorchin'? But I wouldn't say his set was house-y, although I did miss the first 45 minutes. The end was like epic prog. trance. I think his set was perfect for the environment and when he tapped into the crowd with the Somnabulist remix that peaked HIGH, he kept it on that vibe. That and whatever he mixed flight 643 into was a beautifully technical mix. He went half way out of it, then switched, then brought the base of it back in, then the whole thing, then mixed out. HAWT show! |
