Im at that point now with this one...
flog.mp3 (left click)
...where I just need to take a break and pop my ears.
This one's been real fun, but the melody gets annoying, IMO.
Over-did it on the automation? |

| Melody gets a bit repetitive after time. Throw in little twists. Great synth production though. |

Hi m8 I got your PM and here I am.
first of all Great break The drum line is very good there. But this tune is missing a few things , melody is a bit repetetive but thats ok IF you have other changes in the tune, Behind the melody, in the drumline in the base line and so on. and you need to work on your kick/basedrum, Group it with your base lines and compress together. overall theres missing compresion on this tune.My suggestions for this tune would be to add more percs more tribals another deep base line , some shifting pads or a few changes in the melody , maybe you could add a backup melody in some places. how ever you need to work some whit the mix down and experiment whit the compresors =), Im sorry if im a bit tough here but thats what I would do, and this way you might be able to improve your next tunes. But still this tune has some potential you only need to fill in the spaces. - Keep it up - Love Mavve! |
