OK, so I was asked to go to be a part of a testing group for a new web-based system the bank is developing to track the types of incoming calls we are receiving. This is going to be used to determine trends within our call flow on any given day and get feedback to the floor as soon as possible.
Initially I was entered into the system as a "regular user" and through witty tactics and debating (bitching), I was upgraded to "admin user". I come in and basically click all the buttons and roam free testing every little scenario I can think of for 8 hours. As an administrator I have access to update tables and such...for example, just today I added the Krispy Kreme website to the list of official websites our associates may use as reference during calls and I changed all the references to CitiBusiness Online to read "CitiBizzle OnLizzle".
I love my job but wonder why no one in the testing group has said anything...
While on a call, there is a scrolling marquee on the right of the screen that flashes critical news and information for the day and I decided to make it my own personal promotional tool because I'm an administrator D*MMIT!!!
Here's what I wrote:
International superstar DJ Dave Molina will be visiting the site on June 1st, 2006 as part of his upcoming world tour. Dress code for the day will be business casual and we have been asked that at no time should anyone look directly at him. If deemed necessary to speak to him, please address him as "Sir" or "Your Majesty".
Raffle tickets are currently on sale for a chance to eat lunch with His Majesty in the Citi Cafe and proceeds will be donated to the David Hasselhoff Fund to help pay for the statue currently under construction outside the USCC Day Care Center.
We are receiving large amounts of positive feedback on our Dave Molina marquee updates and we are happy to announce we will be updating the marquee daily with Dave Molina news and gossip.
05.10.2006: Dave Molina had oatmeal for breakfast this morning....yes, it had raisins in it.
05.10.2006: Although uncomfirmed at this time, Dave Molina was seen purchasing Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner at a local grocery store today. This must be the secret to his beautiful hair.

Update: We have just been advised that on Dave Molina's visit to the site on June 1st, all interaction with Dave must first be approved by His Majesty's Security Advisor Jake Cavazos. Jake does not speak English so each request must be presented to his translator Dirk Westphal, who will in turn forward the message to Jake for permission.
