Any of you guys like him?
I'm taking my Dad to see him in concert tomorrow, costing me £117. My dad is a big fan, he had the chance to see him in Boston when we were in the US but it was sold out i believe.
I have just told him we're going tomorrow and he almost started crying. He's had such a hard time with work and family life of the past 4 years, working 8am till 10pm in the office at home...i thought he deserved a treat.
Man i'm feeling so good now that i've made my dad happy :happy2: |

| Good deal. I've seen Pink Floyd with my dad and the Stones with my mom (a high school guidance counselor, her students loved this) and my dad. Good, good stuff. I think the Floyd blows away Tiesto in Concert any day! There were so many lasers, I don't see how the planes coming into Nashville that night were landing safely. :p |

Lalya (unplugged) is one of my favourite acoustic/blues songs ever. hes one of the best guitar players of our time.
lucky for me my dad was a huge fan of his and I grew up listening to alot of his stuff but layla really hits close to home.
too bad about his kid though. when I heard that and tears from heaven I almost cried like a baby :( |

the song carries such a weight to it. I mean the guy saw his little kid fall out of a balcony. that mustve been unimaginably horrific for him... |

£117 is about $220, its worth it, my dad has spent so much on me over the years. |
