Best foreign currency to invest in right now... thoughts?
Fir3start3r
I would say Canadian but that would have been months ago

Anything but the dollar. I have diversified a bit into an Australian ETF as their currency generally seems more stable. Wanna be real speculative, you could back the truck up on some Iraqi Dinars, but you won't see me doing the same! And yeah, Canada has been a good safe haven. I guess it depends--are you looking for currency diversification for stability or are trying to make bold, speculative investment calls for large profits.

Im looking for more of a diversification within my current portfolio. I am not invested in any foreign currencies, but I would like to be. I am already invested in an Asian markets ETF, but wanted to perhaps invest my money in the Brazilian, Canadian, or possible other foreign markets. And I would like something with stability, but still potential for solid growth.

Invest all your money into Silver/Gold/Chinese markets. There is no safer way to make money these days.

Im in gold and asian markets, have seen a 21% return in about 3 weeks on my gold etf, insane. But I do think I will look into silver. Thanks for the tip. How about brazil and canada though, both currencies have had quite a rally here for a bit.

But if I had money to just make one play, I already have 8 stocks in the portfolio, the best choice?

The big players are usually involved in FOREX. There's a lot of money to be made but it's seriously too much to learn. I believe George Soros made like $1,000,000,000 in one day.

1 euro = 1.26 $

Actually, the administration most recently did NOT label China a currency manipulator.
