Relax night club?

hey
I heard of a new night club in Kitchener called Relax. Their web site is very flashy and light on substance. Has anyone been there? Is the music any good? Is there a dress code (as they vaugly refer to on the website)?
(yeah i know, the easy answer would be to just go there and check it out, I'm wondering if anyone else has been there)

Well I pulled this little quote right from their website....looks like a TiL wannabe type club.
"The Club "RELAX" has a restricted door policy with Dress Code, face control and age requirement (19+) and preference is given to guests with Membership Club Cards.The Management Reserves The Right To Refuse Admission. The Club "RELAX" has a system of Membership Club Cards, however visitors are always welcome. "
It appears to be a Euro-House/Prgressive Club appealing to those that want to be seen. They do say there will be American and International DJs brought in along with a resident DJ. |

| I think I heard about this place a while ago ... calling themselves a "private club" rather than a "bar" so they could still allow smoking. But I guess with this "no smoking in the workplace" that isn't an issue anymore. |

take a good look at the pic
are those prefab ceiling tiles i see on the ceiling? And check out the cheesy looking 50s diner style bar.. and the 1977 era lighting.
and they want to tell people their bar is too good for them?

Jay if I'm right and this is the bar I think it is with just a new name and a good cleaning then believe me, I'd rather party at a refugee camp in Dafour. |
