So i think this record deserves a mention, but it really needs no introduction.
Released in 1991 on Outer Rhythm, and most famously used in the film Twin Peaks.

The Woodtick Mix is an absolute classic, starts off with brilliant crisp beats, and it then launches you into that killer eerie melody which is etched on the memory and never forgotten, for some reason this track just reminds me of death, but the track just never gets old.

Love the video as well, where Moby actually has hair!

"Go" is a cover / remix of "Laura Palmer's Theme" by Angelo Badalamenti. Thus it was the original used in Twin Peaks (which was a TV series) and "Fire Walk With Me" (a film which followed later).

There is a blatant rip-off of the track, "Laura Palmer's Theme" by FKW. It even has the same drum loop.

If it reminds you of death that's because Badalamenti knows exactly what he's doing. It's very much intentional ;)

which did sasha used to play?
SYSTEM-J
As mentioned, Moby just sampled the Twin Peaks theme.

Still a class track though.

I never knew that dude and I watched every episode of Twin peaks - although I never found out who killed Laura Palmer.

Thanks for the Info

I still love that Moby track and remember the Video with lots of animated people cycling.
