My crime fighting career begins...

| So.. It's 2:13 and I just got home. I live on a twisty, tree-covered and poorly lit street in a suburb. On my way here at the last intersection, I walked by what seemed to be a guy working on his car (which is pretty unusual at 2am). After taking a quick look I noticed he had a small box of tools open on the front seat, and the steering wheel lock was still on, which leads me to believe that he was trying to steal the car. He noticed me and seemed to suddenly get very nervous. I realised then that if I appeared to be surprised or even a bit too interrested, this might put my life in danger, so I instinctively just walked by as if I hadn't noticed anything. After having turned the street corner, I walked calmly for 10-15 seconds, and then proceeded to run like hell (heck I had a huge adrenaline boost at this point), get home and call the cops. W00t, go me ;) |

No idea, I just called and told them what I knew. They said they'd check it out and asked me for my phone number. I don't think they'd call just to tell me they cought him. :p |

| yeah wow, i almost car-jacked this guys ride, then some punk-ass called the cops on me! i ran through some bushes, hopped a fence or two, then got home and posted about it on TA :wtf: |

theoretically, you didn't "fight crime" you just simply tattle-taled on someone and the COPS "fought" the purpatrator [sp?]
fighting-crime would have been approaching the guy and beating his ass w/ a crobar. |
