That would be the only condition under which I would recommend listening to Tool's new album. Listen to about 10 seconds of it and you go "yep, that's Tool alright" - honestly, what's the point in making an entirely new album if you're just going to rehash the same old sound? Go listen to Lateralus some more. Save yourself the money. :whip: |

that was exactly my attitude after the first listen. I could even name the songs to which the new songs were similar to. Its definately a tool record, it might not be groundbreaking, but any record by tool is still better than most of the stuff that's out there |

I'm mostly just disappointed. :(
On the upside, the album art is totally ing badass - binoculars and 3-d images are fun even when you're *not* under the influence of amphetamines! |

i suggest you give it another listen. I haven't seen the artwork yet, i will but the album next month, now i'm broke. |
