Mum had said to me on the Monday before it happened, that if I didn't get a job by the Friday, she'd kick me out. I didn't think she was being serious... Anyway, some good news, Got myself a job on Wednesday! YAY! So thats definatly a start. A mate and I are going to look at places later today. Things are getting better...

alex this is extremely suprising and upsetting to hear of, since i'd imagine your mother would know that you are still in that stage of your life where you are finishing school, growing as an individual etc.
without prying into your personal life, why has she suddenly snapped at you? again, I don't mean to pry, people usually do things for a reason, sometimes for unexpected or unforseen ones.
At the end of the day, I would exhaust every avenue to patch things up. Life is short, yes, it really is. It would be a shame to have not tried to hit home that you are shaping up, instead of being shipped out.
I do wish you all the best, either way. :) |

I havent read this whole thread as I am busy at work but it caught my eye.
Alex, a great place to look for a housemate would be
www.flatmatefinders.com.au that is where I met my flatmate and this would save you on costs for Bond, Rent etc.
I also deal with the Dept of Housing Lease Management Team. If you need any further info please send me a PM.
Keep you chin up (thats what my friends tell) :)
And if any of you want to rent a property around Hawthorn, Kew and surrounding areas let me know! ;) |
