Sony fanboys is right.
Sony has been stumbling, ing up and alienating its customer base for the last decade, and yet they still have huge market share in every category except mp3 players.
Sony really is betting on two things:
1) success of Blue-ray
2) existing fan base
They are not bringing anything exciting to the table.
MS was first with their new system
Nintendo has new style of game play
Sony...copied controller, and way behind in terms of development (dead in the water) |

alot of ppl like the controller...many have said its near damn perfect because of button locations and distance between one another. hey if it aint broke why fix it!? just cuz u have a new system doesnt mean u need to change the design of the controller,....but to each his own.
does anyone remember the first xbox controller....that thing was ed, it felt like holding a plastic ass |

They got sued for patent infringment for the 'dual shock' aspect of their controller. Sony lost the initial suit, and the appeal. Payments of $80 million still pending.
One more reason they took it out.
Tilt detection in controllers is not new. Older computer joypads/joysticks had tilt detection primarily for flight sim games. |

| I'm glad the ps3 controller is practically the same...The ps1/ps2 controller is perfect...in terms of shape and button location. I don't need anything fancy or retarded looking. |
