You JUST missed Yoji at Guv last weekend! :D

That's the hardest we've heard on a big scale in a while.

Im there there are other random events or happenings at smaller places around TO that may have hardstyle or hard dance.

You're far more likely to encounter hard trance though!

Anne Savage, whos UK hard house will be at WEMF this year! WOOTWOOT!! Cant freaking wait.

A friend of mine spins UK hard dance... I could inquire with him as to TO hard dance scene if you'd like.

Toronto has a music scene?

If by hardcore you mean Delirium, Lenny Dee, Unknown and Sy, Geezer etc. Toronto's scene is very small. There a few parties here and there dedicated to Hardcore,Happy Hardcore and Hard Dance but there a few a far between. The only promotion group that I know still does them is http://www.goodfellaz.ca.

ya, no kidding. ...i suppose it's lacking in your vocab b/c there is no 'scene' word to be attributed to TO. at least in the UK you can talk about a scene. when you talk about a scene, at least there you can associate a sick ass environment and state of being which is actually socially accepted/ tolerated, rather than persecuted as the evil of society.

as for you alliance, i wouldn't get my hopes up too much. if i were you i'd check out montreal instead b/c that would come the closest to what the UK/ Europe/ Ibiza/ WEMF have to offer. there is much more of an understanding of this type of music and associated lifestyle apparent wherever you go in montreal. the people are much more coherent as a whole when it comes to this kind of stuff. ;)

...and now i'll probably get stoned for my remarks....oh well. think what you want. this is my opinion from my own experience.

Montréal is 6 hours east of Toronto in Quebec (TO's in OntariO).

Its an easy drive across the 401 highway... but once you're in Quebec, they're drivesr are CRAZY!
