UNBELIEVABLE NIGHT! spundae sf thursdays at ruby skye are simply the best party around... add on top of that jxl who brings the party everywhere he goes and you have a thursday night rager! :crazy: i missed jondi & spesh's set but i caught most of momu and they built it up perfectly for jxl. alain octavio had a wicked closing set too!

jxl killed it!
I was there rich...but faded beyond belief....got there at midnight and jxl was on and tearing it up....me and the girl i was with went nuts during the rmx of depeche mode and when he started dropping his album tunes we lost it! Yesterdays, Today, Mushroom! We were so faded tho that we left early -- around 2:30am.

| tl i wasn't too familiar with... i heard a lot of his album tracks like mushroom and today, the dm remix, the coldplay remix, uhh that's all i remember. there were at least 3 monster breakbeats with thunderous basslines that drove the club nuts, i don't know what they were called but you'll recognize them for sure when you hear them :o momu is awesome, i've heard them open for nick warren, lee coombs, meat katie and dylan rhymes and it's a very distinctive breaks sound which i like a lot... momu - mavericks is a good example of their style... |
