whooo :p... just tell me what you guys think of this ;D.. maybe some of you will recognise some.. typical sound of myself lately hahah..
the melody is pretty simple so dont expect huge chords and stuff.. funny thing is you can "hear" the melody wanting to go left, and also it wants to go right, but in the end it goes straight through the middle ;).. filosophic heheh:p

Hmm... lets see... effective bass and disorted synth... yeas, it seems known! About the piano (dunno if its left or riht...) a think its to high. Otherwise sounds it really good! :gsmile:

hey there!
intro is different, nice beat ^^.
this feels alot like your other tunes, youve used alot of stuff that you used in them.
this tune sounds kindoff radio'ish to me.
i like your synth work in this, it seperates this tune from your others.
it ended quite quickly but it was good as long as it lasted |

Everything is Awesome Except the Snare for me i dont know if its just me but its too loud and dry for me
Other Than that, the kick and the bassline is goody goody and the synth work is good too.... |

awsome percs and kick. i like the reverbed snare drum. bass synth is good. i would mirror it and have one of then playing the mid and highs, and the other just playing the lows but with some sidechaining because the kick is being affected by the bass in my cans. also the build needs to be much longer for mixing.
i love your bass. its very dirty and cool. id scrap the piano. it sounds too cheesy imo. i bet this sounds dark without it. id lower the lead synth one octave and cut the lows from it. and maybe have a nice minimal sine melody. i think your synths need to be quieter and your percs a little louder but thats just personal preference.
overall this is great work and i look forward to the final mate- still no new reply from armin about solarkeys yet...

omg, this track is loud.
You need to lower the bassline and kick, gonna sound so much better.
It's so short, i wondered wat happend the first time i listened.
I think you should keep the piano, fits good imo.
The bassline is good.
I like your synth melody, but imo it needs another sound. |

| hey takkra, always nice to hear new tracks from you, this track is a bit hard to judge after listening "soaring" a few times, so ill try my best and review, the beat is funky at the beginning wich is cool. but you could have introduced that heavy/low synth in the beginning a bit different. the piano is nice its kinda dark. maybe at 2:05 try and add some effects with the background synth and piano. the bassline is quite cool with that. hmmm the track is simple yet nice but needs more work. try and add some more effects and stuff and please introduce that dark synth in the beginning a bit different. cool track i like it. im looking forward to the full version. |

The kick it is overcompressed imo, the overall track now that I listen better to it, the percussion on the intro is good, I personally found the bass out of place at 0:27, I would give a better intro so the bass is not so straight, right now it sounds to damn impromptu, the piano is fine, but the mixdown on it is to dry and none of the sections so far had a good introduction, all sounds are appearing one by one like bombs exploding everywhere.
In overall, the structure is a mess for me, there's not a good introduction for each section, the track it's overcompressed, your drums are going better, there's not good panning selection with the synths, right now it sounds very like an uncut diamond, you have good ideas for this one, but it needs alot of work mate, keep it up :).

first of all i would like to thank all of you for your time and quality reviews :)!! im really happy most of you like the track!! ;) still is a short example of how the main thing is going to be, needs polishing and extending stuff :) and im really thankfull for all the advice!!..
Unfortunatly im heading straight into my examsperiod and I wont be able to write anytime soon, three weeks max :).. so everyone thanks for listening.. and other people feel free to drop a line ;) |
