Hey, anyone tried this new Music Production Software? It has caught my attention, so I was hoping somebody could share some experiences...

I'd like to know some thoughts on this myself. It looks very good but I would love to hear some user opinions. Mind you, anything I've seen/tried by Native Instruments is always excellent.

looks pretty neat, perhaps Live competitor.

Yeah, had a quick play on my friends.

Looks damn sexy, also looks intresting.

For me, I'm kind of half decided as I may be able to get a cheap Kore and get a free Komplete 2 to Komplete 3 upgrade.

But I really need to spend more time playing around with it before I splash the cash.

Check out NI's forums and ask there?

If only there was a demo :whip:

Kore....Good Technology but didn't blow me away.
What's great is that when you buy Kore, you get 11,000 presets but the catch is that you have to own native instruments Komplete 3 if you want all those presets to work cos they are basically layers of Pro53,reaktor,etc.

Theres nothing that can't be done with current software cos if you own a pro53 and absynth, you can so easily layer up the two sounds to get a new kick ass sound.

And to end it off, the controller also has a built in soundcard which most won't use and most people I know who owns Kore, don't use the controller....

oh....and no demo cos the controller acts as a dongle to the software...

I think more & more software will go this way soon. Carn't blame them almost every one has at least 1 cracked native instruments vst.

But... That means we have to pay for our software?

Well, it can't compete with Live since it's not a fully fledged sequencer (only supports simple midi sequences and such, no fancy editing). Also I've heard it's very unstable and many people can't even get the thing started 'cause it crashes constantly.

I was kinda hoping Kore would have a nice sequencer, something like EnergyXT, just with that hot controller as well :) That'd have made me buy it, but since it's only a plugin wrapper with some fancy features, I can just as well use eXT...
