But another thread reminded me of this phenomenon.... Namely, that certain songs seem to bring on a rather strong emotional response from the crowd, particularly the ladies, who are given to crying. In my limited experience, I've compiled a short list of tracks that do this. Anyone else care to contribute their songlist and enlighten me as to why?
Delerium - Silence (Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise mix)
Sterbinszky - Fly Away With Me
DJ Tiesto - In My Memory (Dresden & Gabriel mix (out soon))
Cyclone - Salobre (Nickelson mix)
Billie Ray Martin - Honey (Chicane mix)
Conversely, there are some really mellow, even wistful tracks that the ladies seem to love...
St. Etienne - He's on the Phone
Zero 7 - Destiny (Photek mix)
Mike & The Mechanics (Now that You've Gone)
Smart - Es (Love Is Blind)

well, why they may not be as uplifting as some of these other tunes, there are a few tracks that make me all teary-eyed

ppk - resurrection
they have a special connotation for me, and i get this weird tingly feeling all over when i hear them. not to say that there aren't any other ones.
such are the awesome powers of trance. heh. :) |

I heard that Tiësto fell a few tears one time at a party as he was spinnin. Ok I don´t think that it was cause of a emotional tune. Was probably from the huge loving response from the crowd...

heh well all the tunes mentioned ya do gimmme that big chill all over my body and for some reason theyre just so sad..but its a good kinda sad...i like this thread =)...sad tunes rule.
