Hey addicts. got another track for you here. i finished this one off yesterday.

i wrote the melody when i was drunk.. REALLY drunk. it seems going out clubbing all night and getting really off your face makes from some good inspiration.

anyway, in this one i use a couple of production tips ive learned from this site. and lots of other places. including better sound design. and a breakbeat style section at about 5:00 (my personal favorite part of the track)

glad you like it :)

i used bass-station for that bassline, its a heavily modified version of the "use it up" preset. with some slight delay, then i sidechain compressed it with the kick.

thanks :)

how did you manage to sidechain in reason?:) and what equipment did you use for the synth lines.....?:)
DJ_Sea
I didnt :) the sidechaining was done in Live 5. (although it is possible to fake sidechain compression in reason using automation, but nothing beats the satisfaction of real sidchain compression :))

the pads and all the synths (apart from the bass) were made in reason using the malstrom, then rewired into live 5 as audio inputs, where i then put sidechain compression on them using the vanilla compressor. it was a lengthy process. :)

thanks for the advice ...it sounds like a very complicated process.. worth it though the track sounds good man keep it up.... :)
