I have a pic of the same building in Amsterdam...except no bird...but was also a gloomy day...it actually started snowing by the afternoon :(

Oh I met a strange character.. he followed me around on a bike speaking every single language he knew to try and get my attention. I was by myself and it was about 9pm and he followed me halfway back to my hotel.. I was just slightly worried.
But other than that one experience I have nothing but good things to say about Holland. I can't wait to call that place my home :toothless |

| yeah...I took a wrong turn and ended up in the redlight district by myself not knowing where I was. Felt really uncomfortable cuz group of guys were walking by me and just staring, even the store clerks...I should've clued in when there was sex shop all around and when I looked to my side there was a girl with her legs wide open propped up against the glass door! oy |

They say the district is one of the safest places to be in Amsterdam though cuz it is patrolled the most by the police there.
This summer I will have my bodyguards with me (the guys I am going with) so I don't have to worry about being back to the hotel shortly after dark. In the past years I have only really been out late with others around. Don't really want to be wandering around by myself in another country at midnight or 1am so this year I will accomplish that :) |

memories of walking around Brussels for 3 hours at night on New Years' eve waiting to go to the club... I prefer strength in numbers for those situations as well.
drinking some of this right now... gooo edmonton!
