benqs arent the best ! viewsonics are very good..worked in a comp shop for a year soo i know what monitors we were workn with

I would KILL for a 19" Viewsonic CRT.
The first thing we learned in class when we started Photoshop is that the colour of an LCD isnt anywhere near as true as a CRT.
Be careful when editing those pics Shaya.
I've got my eye on a 19" Samsung widescreen LCD. Buuuuuuut then I'll have to spend $300+ on a spider to profile it. :whip: |

Yes, it's called profiling and requires a spider which is an attachment that sticks onto your monitor, looks at the colours, then adjusts them to be more true to life.
They're not cheap though, and only really necesary if you're doing alot of printing after you've done photo editing.
Unfortunatly for me, I do alot of that kind of stuff. :mad:
But big ups to saving space!! Not to mention giving your eyes a break! |
