Good evening :)
Felt like sharing another track with you guys.
I guess we can call this the follow-up to Rendez-Vous (posted here a couple of weeks ago). Another deep and laidback number for those hot summery nights..
Kindred Spirits - French Kiss (right-click, save as)
Enjoy :) |

I agree wholeheartedly.
From the get-go, I could tell this production was worth the listen.
I happen to be enjoying progressive trance more and more these days.
Nice steamy pads! The clap is a hot one... that's really hitting the spot when the bassdrum is so warm as it is. This track doesn't even need a bassline -- but we get one anyways (this guy's really generous)... :)
The layers bring themselves to attention wonderfully. The track is very warm... I'd like to know what equipment you use -- having a production this warm is so beyond me.
Where on earth did you get those vocals? They bring alot of atmosphere... it's topping. The breakdown has good wash effects... the vocals are becomming hypnotic.
Reminds me of the better aspects of house, and progressive... all under the umbrella of trance.
TOR... I'll have to remember the name... you often produce progressive? |

Listening...
Nice Bassdrum and Perc! Really Crisp.
Bass comes in fantastic!
Like the little synth coming in, pads are nice also btw.
It is summery, laid back but it has a hard edge to it?
Just my impression anyways...
Breakdown...
Guitar sounds wicked! Nice Pitchbend on it.
All comes back in well.
Over all I like it, its not summet I'd play really. But I deffo wouldnt mind hearing this in a set, and ther production is top notch mate. Would like to hear more from you. |

The sequencing is done in Ableton, so there is no quality loss after loading the sounds/samples (contrary to Reason for example). The sounds themselves come from FL (+ various VST's), in combination with Reason (+ refills), all edited to suit our needs of course. :)

Only together with Jack Carter (Pumaz), who is a master in the genre. He does most of the work really :p
My solo project is Cosmic Tracer, where I focus more on the trancier side of things. I usually produce big room uplifters under that alias, but there's a deeper, more progressive track coming up soon on the Total Digital website. Keep an eye out for that one ;)
There's two other aliases, one for the harder edged tracks (The Bass Foundation) and one for softer/ambient soundscapes (The Tower), but I don't use them very regularly. My main projects are Kindred Spirits and Cosmic Tracer.
Thanks for the support everyone :) |
