Here is a bit of a review which I posted on Torontoraves. It was in reply to someone else's post.

Anyway, it was so ing awesome to hang out Hugh, some Sauga TA's and of course, my love ALBERT!
It was so crazy how we ended up getting back home. :lol:

Seriously, that El Mocambo layout is so ed. The bathrooms are in the basement or on the third level. The stairs towards the basement are so ed - if I was hearing heels - I would have 100% fell over.
Anyway, what time did we stay there until Albert? I think it was past 4am.
I liked whoever was playing downstairs right at the end.

It was so ing bassy and intense! I loved their ing set so much. Junior posted how the sets were recorded yes!!!
Even though the mixing is off, they did a ing amazing job as usual.
I love those two boys, so much admiration for them!
It did kinda remind me of systemsound bar - very laid back, people were dressed casual I suppose. lots of posers you know how it is!!
Too bad it was just so suffocating. Unfortunately in this city, it seems as though we don't have many options when it comes to throwing a party. That's my opinion. It's either too ing upscale or too ghetto.
I'm really ing happy I made it out to see Robb G and Jelo.
It was soo worth it. The wait was worth it.
I don't know when I'll get to see those two back to back again.
I know I'll never forget how awesome they spun that night, DESPITE TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES!

| OMG ...... what a night .... having as much fun as i had last weekend should be ilegal.... the beat freakers were off the hook ... Jelo v.s Robb G what else can i say then holy , Jelo has always been one of my fav dj's not only for his music but the show he puts on and how much he gets into his music ... one of my fav this is how he was paceing back and forth on stage with his eyes on the tables for like ten min b4 he went on.... overall the night was 9.5/10 !! and i don't think my buddy could have had a better bday party up next erick morillo! |
