Hola TranceAddicts!

It's been a year and half since I've finished a song. Made way too many random samples :p . Tell me what you guys think of this song. Kind of going for a surrealish effect.

EDIT: Threw in a new kick. See if it's better. Also changed song name.

nice intro melody... really soothing,

nice pads and sweeps as well... really liking the twinkling sounds. the vocalish pad or sample is nice too.

percussion is rather simple but crisp and clean which is good. perhaps some slightly stronger hits added in.

build to the break is nice, kept me interested the whole way. has a rather typical build, but sounds and melodies are uplifting.

overall its a nice track with a pretty original guitar melody. background synth is pretty typical.

only things i didn't really like was the kick and bass. the kick just sounded way too thin. no punch or drive to it. definitely need a deeper and even harder kick there. also the bassline just needs to sound thicker. pretty much i would just try to thicken up the lower end.

good to see another asian producer making some trance out there... keep it up. =)

Hey, I was wondering when I'd ever see you posting here.

YOu already know what I think of that intro ;). It's a keeper! It makes me think of some sort of temple-tarian, desert fantasia in some game soundtrack. Cool vibe.

The kick, as we have already pointed out... sounds too hollow. It works after the vibe continue, but it's not a slaptastic thud that's club-passable -- but that's just me. Let's see if anyone else thinks differently. Something closer akin to a 909 would have fit the goove better.

The surreal textures throughout the buildup are very well distributed and beautifully arranged.

The break wraps the theme up well... I hear a saw-ish synth filtering in. What a melody... epic drive -- it's what I live for!

Excellent! The theme, the melody, and the arrangement are very coherent and straighforward. However, I'm really feeling the lack of solid punch in the kick right about now. Don't get me wrong, the kick itself is compressed and heard perfectly, but it's just not quite the right sound to these ears.

All in all, good work on the track. I can see that your skills in arrangement are better than mine... and I failed to comment on the good work on many of the trancy pads that are so well crafted in this piece.

Just work on tiny things in the kick, and the track should be golden.

Hey trancinchink and Four_On_Four-er,

I swear I have like the worst kick samples ever. Sigh. I'll try to cough up another one. Dunno what exactly to work for so it's hard for me. Have a new link up soon. Thanks for the reviews!

Very nice track. Just needs a bit more low-mid/mid -frequencies. Bongo groove might fit perfectly.

intro sounds are cool, nice atmosphere, almost metal gear solid theme ish.
but you chose a different direction.
really like your intro! its so chilled :).
nice fade in for the beat but well the kick isnt good ;).
like your bass but i would prefer it to be more massive beacuse off your mood you got.
dude how do you get the kind off atmosphere you have? its awesome! :).
i guess im still to new.
i would try layering kicks for this.
strings are awesome! :eyes:
nice backgrounds sounds!
break gave me chills !
melody is nice, really gives the whole track a rush!
i like the climax :).
nicely done!
cant really say anything bad about this tune if you count away kick and lack of lower freq's :).

good job!

Tried a fatter kick with help from MrJiveBoJingles. See if it fills the lows better.

Hey. This is sounding very pro. Love the intro sequence. The percussion is awesome as well as the rest of the elements. Great feel with the melody. Overall a very good trancey song :).

Amazing.

There is feeling behind this track.

Thats a sweet transition at 1:25.

My only gripe is the main lead instrument. It sounds Asian. A real instrument instead would put this song over the top. With all the detail in the rest of the song, an acoustic guitar with the right effect could work.

Everything else is perfect.

I cant wait to hear another track!

I prefered 'Shattered Utopia' to be honest. The new saws make it a little to Euro-dance-ish. Excellent work though, briliant!

Hey,

Really nice work you've done here...

Intro is nice, i like how it transitions into the kick and the rest of the drums.

The production is just nicely put together, sounds very pro, like im listening to the radio...

then in your break, I like the synths here. nice and powerful.

Awesome job.
