You'd think its a mistake if his cell phone bill comes out to a value 81000 times greater then the combined annual bill of every rogers user in canada.

hah yeah I definitely learned my lesson...my best friend is moving to Poland at the end of the summer..THAT'S going to be horrible...we talk on the phone sooooo much! I guess I have to try talking to her less and less so it's not so hard for us when she moves.

use skype. it's free as long as both of you have it. www.skype.com

you just need a broadband or faster internet connection, and I'm guessing by how much you post that you likely do have one. ;)

My family is scattered all over the place and I'll be in Japan for the better part of next year so this how I'm planning to keep the phone costs down.

I'll be there working and training in Martial Arts. It's mainly a way to gain experience in Japanese culture. Afterwards I'm planning on a year in Shanghai and Bejing to do the same with Chinese culture. I'm trying to increase my value to North American corporations looking for Pacific Rim expansion.

speaking of cell phone bills... I just had my service shut off again by Sprint! :whip:
This has been happening since I left Telus back in January and made the switch. Apparently I don't have enough credit history in the United States yet so I can only have a $150 spending limit. No big deal. Recently my bills have been well within that. (although it was not uncommon for my bills to hit 300 with Telus)
Sprint keeps canceling my long distance plan on me without telling me so I end getting BS'ed into nearly 50 cents a minute for my calls back to Canada! They never even tell me when it happens. one day I have it on my plan so the next day I make calls... two days later my phone gets shut off and I have to spend 3 hours on the phone to get them to give me a refund and turn my service back on.

I'm getting pretty sick of this but none of the other phone companies down here have the same coverage as Sprint (with the exception of Cingluar, but they have the nation's worst customer service and are known for screwing up bills even worse)... So I'm kinda stuck.

I would almost rather still be paying 250-300 a month with telus than have to go through this horse every two weeks at some random non convienent time. (I was trying to order flowers for my mom today when it shut off mid call!):whip:
