it's alright man - i already picked out a book to read tonight as i stay at home and go to bed at midnight.
i'm going to start by reading the thesaurus to loosen up and then plow through the bible. tucked in and asleep by 12 a.m. its gonna be so great.
i will also be listening to some sweet sweet trance and furry house. i'm thinking tiesto essential mix from cream amnesia 2005. thoughts? i heard the "on-the-edge" mixing is phenomenal.

| luke fair was really good.. I enjoyed his grooves. I felt a vibe. ission aaccomolishced. so umm yeah for soem frason he went on before dean palmer. but that was ok I twlked to dean anyway. he is a cool guy. but I spent most of the night hangng out w johnny chaos and also buttd heads w johnny curley. hey is a good person. and now om ttarancong out to soeme one hundred thiryy eigtht vbmp trance ufuk |

Yeah... that one was my fault.... I was sick all week and just not ready to deal with a late night out at a club... :(
I wanna be at 100% before I head back out - Diggers is most likely our return to Chicago (outside of a certain BBQ this weekend ;))
And yeah, Johnny Chaos is sick :) |

hmm.. it didn't bother me last night. It didn't bother me at Nic either. It's funny but I felt this way at Crobar - the main room. Was DAMN loud. And - the lounge upstairs - oh my god. That is like the worst sound I have ever heard at a club. Ear-piercing shrill mids and highs, I think whoever set THAT eq up has issues.. ;p |

1. luke fair's set was pretty sweet
2. rubin wussed out and left around 1:30 claiming it was too loud
3. he was right, the system is deafening but still no reason to wuss out, the highs were pretty ear piercing, the bass was turned up high enough to muddle the tracks with distortion (at least it was that way at the beginning)
4. not as crammed as i thought it would be.
5. still undecided on the venue, maybe just needs some time to grow on me but for now i don't think its that great
6. some other niggling stuff, all in all, should have stayed home. actually, after this weekend i'll take an extended break.
7. mike's set was good, especially towards the end it really hit its stride and was going quite nicely. |

Marius told them "more bass, more bass" when Mike first started, so that cotributed to the sound, because some guy actually complied and significantly raised the sound. I thought the sound quality was really good last week.
Luke was good and left a little after Dean went on because we were all getting tipsy since we were drinking Jaeger under the L tracks for an hour, since Mike said he'd be on at 9 and they wouldn't let anyone in until 10. Blake, did we run into you last night? Allendes Burritos made for a good afterparty, though I wish Puppetmaster, the homeless guy who hangs outside could have eaten the burrito I bought him inside with us. Oh well, this whole week has been like the movie Groundhog Day, so just woke up and time to start drinking again, listen to good music, get called Johnny Chaos and Tiesto by drunken Rubin and blackout around 3 at Allendes!
Oh, and Bobby I hope you're still alive! |
